The team in Brisol was engaged to ascertain for the client and the architect the condition of the building and to determine the suitability of building fabric reuse.
Our building surveying and sustainability expertise was utilised to prepare a pre-redevelopment audit; a pre-requisite requirement for a redevelopment planning application submitted to the City of London, and to establish and report on the extent of building fabric reuse and demolition for a new 100 key luxury hotel.
We were engaged early in the design phase to assist with the design and construction processes where our expertise was used to inform the decision-making process for retention and reuse of building elements and components, rather than demolition and rebuilding.
PMP assessed the condition of every building element and prepared a detailed independent condition report to assist with recommendations using our extensive knowledge and experience, just one of the many examples of the types of work our team across the country get involved in to help clients to realise their ambitions.
