PEOPLE OF PMP

What we’re most proud of is our teams of people who fly the flag for PMP. Our people are rewarded with careers where they can develop and where they are supported to take the next step, where ambition is rewarded, and where they are encouraged to learn from others.

We operate at the top of our game and we want people who can embrace our positive culture – working smarter, working better and working for others.

INTERNSHIPS

We want entrants from schools, colleges and university; we want entrants from all different walks of life to complete our teams.

We understand construction builds and creates workplaces, infrastructure, homes and schools, and so on, and that we need innovators to drive the work of PMP. If this sounds like the place for you, we are always eager to hear from talented people at whatever stage they are on their journey.

About Us

Getting under the skin of a property’s purpose and goals is where we start. The greater our understanding of why the project is important to you and how it will benefit your organisation and end-users is key. Working style is a success factor. With PMP on your side, you’ll have people open to ideas. People who know the value of a good question and where to add value constructively and creatively. Our specialisms are technical and numbers-based, but we never lose sight of the fact that work can and should allow us all to crack a few smiles once in a while.

Here are our values. We’re ready to bring our best to get the job done.

Technical Expertise

It should give you confidence to see a list of esteemed Clients who consider PMP as their construction consultants of choice. These relationships have developed through honesty and trust, and we have built these by delivering professional excellence and integrity.

The ultimate ambition must be ensuring you get the best, most knowledgeable and most efficient service. To that end, our team never stops learning, and across services and offices, we frequently share lessons learned and best practices.

UK Wide Coverage

PMP was established in 1992 by our Chairman John Dunn. Today, the PMP family has a national reach across offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester, London and Bristol. Sometimes we lead the team, and sometimes we’re part of a team. We are wherever you need us to be.

Community Involvement

At PMP, we value the communities in which we work, and it’s important to us to support causes that create opportunities for people to access sport and culture.

Marple Athletic Girls Football Club –

Under 10’s Away Strip, Kit Sponsor.

As a company that values the communities in which we live and work, we get a real kick out of creating opportunities that support play too. That’s why we are the Away Kit Sponsor for Marple Athletics Girls U10’s Football Club.

Head of our Manchester Office, Ben Walker, is one of the coaches At Marple Athletic GFC U10s, and he said, “Our sponsorship helps support grassroots football in the community where we live. It’s important to us create opportunities for children and young people to enjoy sport and come together as a community”.

Charity Street Soccer Scotland

We were delighted to offer services as Building Surveyors on a ‘pro-bono’ basis to support Charity Street Soccer Scotland in securing a lease for The Lynch Centre, Dundee, to create a “change centre”. The centre will create opportunities for socially disadvantaged youngsters and adults and those from deprived areas to participate in soccer and other sport.

David Mackenzie, Dundee regional manager for Street Soccer Scotland, said, “It will offer hope, relationships and purpose, but much more than that, by being at the heart of the local community, it’ll break away some of the misconceptions and stigma around social disadvantage by bringing people together through a range of different activities.”

Community Involvement

The PMP family has a strong team across offices in Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, London and Manchester.
