PRINCIPAL DESIGNER
PMP approach the Principal Designer role with its core values of technical expertise, integrity and trust, our people, and putting the interests of clients and long-term sustainable goals at the centre of our thinking and decision making.
The principal designer’s role requires close cooperation with the whole project team including the client, lead designer and design team and the principal contractor. PMP integrate our principal designer services by seamlessly coordinating with the project team throughout our appointment to understand and manage risks in the design, construction and post completion maintenance and repurposing stages of the building lifecycle.
Your Principal Designer at PMP will take the lead in planning, managing, monitoring and co-ordinating health and safety during the pre-construction, design and planning stages.
In line with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations, PMP professionals take on the responsibility of ensuring health and safety is integrated into the design, construction and post completion stages.
Our Principal Designers communicate with other members of the project team, including contractors, clients, and other designers, to provide assurance that everyone is aware of their responsibilities regarding health and safety.
PMP acting as your Principal Designer will ensure that your construction project is designed and delivered in accordance with Construction (Design and Management) Regulations.
