PMP was engaged as Employers Agents to specify and tender the cladding remediation works at Milliners Wharf, Manchester.
Our role included overseeing the PAS9980 inspection which confirmed combustible insulation was present and presented a high risk; managing the funding application with The Department for Levelling Up Housing and Communities – Building Safety Fund; and acted as Contract Administrators, Cost Consultants and Principal Designer.
PMP provided building surveying, principal designer services, project management, contract administration and quantity surveying.
Our team prepared the Golden Thread Information and Health and Safety Folder showing a record of how the building has been remediated.
PMP commenced negotiations with the tenant’s representative in order to reach a reasonable settlement for both parties achieving a 70% settlement.
