We were appointed by Royal London Asset Management to undertake the Pre-Acquisition Due Diligence for the purchase of Abingdon Business Park; a 50-acre industrial and office site, of which Spectrum formed one of the existing assets.
The project was, during the course of design, superseded by agreement to Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT) which signed a new lease on the existing 50,000 sq. ft. building.
The redevelopment option was adjusted to the landlord’s refurbishment inclusive of a category A office and shell warehouse. Given to RLAM’s strict Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) policies, the design team has incorporated a number of energy efficiencies and improvements across the building with a reduction in utility costs across the site. Since PC of the landlord works, the building has been reassessed to achieved EPC “B” rating and is on target for achieving BREEAM Excellent.
PMP has now been appointed by ONT to manage the fit-out project, providing a state-of-the-art bio-science facility at the heart of the park. We proudly provided project management, contract administration and principal design services.
