The Edrington Group made the strategic decision to relocate its headquarters from an out-of-town location to Glasgow City Centre. The choice of location and office needed to reflect the luxury and prestige of the Edrington brand and allow the group to strengthen its operations and promote the culture of the business.
Edrington appointed PMP to provide Technical Due Diligence advice on the selection of an office from a short list of city centre offerings. The pre-requisite was that the building had to offer CAT A office space within the tight timeframe Edrington had set.
As experienced property consultants, PMP’s local expertise and evidenced knowledge reassured Edrington that the proposed solution of securing the upper 4 floors of the newly completed 100 Queen Street would deliver the premium space and location the brand sought.
Edrington’s confidence in the advice provided by PMP led to the appointment of our Project Management team to lead the fit-out design team and act as the Contract Administrator for the Headquarters.
100 Queen Street included a 22torey roof extension on the sixth and seventh floors which would form the upper two floors of Edrington’s new headquarters. The office included the creation of open plan office space, collaborative and private meeting spaces, enticing kitchen and breakout spaces that would encourage creativity and collaboration among employees and promote wellbeing and pride.
The 7th floor, which commands exceptional views across Glasgow City Centre and beyond, includes a luxurious visitors reception, conference and private entertainment space with an impressive Whisky Bar and tasting room, showcasing its brands award-winning selection of whiskies.
The quality of the fit-out reflects Edrington’s status as a luxury brand. Through open and collaborative working, Edrington’s HQ is considered as one of the finest in Glasgow City Centre.
