Following the purchase of 45 Church Street, Birmingham by Royal London Asset Management (RLAM), PMP provided pre-acquisition technical due diligence surveys enabling RLAM to have a comprehensive insight into the building condition in advance of making an offer.
PMP co-ordinated all specialist sub-consultants to provide accurate and comprehensive surveys allowed RLAM to expand its portfolio with confidence that they would see a return on investment once the refurbishment works were complete.
The 12-storey property towers the Birmingham skyline on a prominent city centre site. Upon acquisition of 25 Church Street, RLAM instructed PMP to deliver the Project Management and Contract Administration of the refrigeration and refurbishment as well as appointing PMP as Principal Designer.
The works comprised the refurbishment of the landlord lobbies and WC’s and the formation of new shower and cycle facilities within the basement car park.
RLAM further appointed PMP to oversee CAT A and CAT A+ refurbishments to floors as leases expire and new tenants take up occupancy.
