PMP Manchester Announces Key Promotions as 2025 Draws to a Close
PMP’s Manchester office is celebrating a successful year with three significant promotions, reinforcing its continued growth and commitment to talent development.
The team is celebrating a successful year with a raft of promotions for Lewis Simms, Dan Lawson and Chris Birchall.
This news comes on the back of its latest announcement that it has appointed a new director, Michelle Richardson, to spearhead a new Project Management team in Manchester.
Chris Birchall has been promoted to Associate Director. A Chartered Building Surveyor, Chris joined PMP when the Manchester office opened in 2019 and has played an instrumental role in its success.
He specialises in dilapidations negotiations (landlord and tenant), management of repair and refurbishment projects, and providing technical due diligence advice, while maintaining and developing key client relationships.
Chris also serves as a mental health ambassador, actively promoting wellbeing within the team.
Lewis Simms and Dan Lawson have both been promoted to Senior Surveyor. Lewis, who joined PMP straight from university, has been with the Manchester office since its inception and achieved his RICS Chartership during his tenure.
Dan, who joined in 2023, has contributed significantly to a diverse range of industrial and commercial projects, further strengthening the team’s capabilities.
These promotions follow the recent appointment of Michelle Richardson as Director to lead PMP’s new Project Management team in Manchester, marking a pivotal phase in the office’s development.
The team has been further bolstered with the appointment of Freya Corkhill as Project Manager joining the Project Management team in Manchester. Before moving into construction, Freya has experience in delivering nuclear decommissioning and defence projects. Latterly she worked at an independent construction & project management firm, specialising in project management.
