PMP unveils £1m expansion move

A Scots property consultancy firm is investing £1million in establishing a new base in Bristol to take advantage of growing demand for its services across the south-west of England.

Edinburgh-headquartered PMP has recruited a team of five for the new offices in the city where it already works with a number of clients and has secured recent instructions from the likes of Ladbrokes. Squarestone Growth and House of Fraser Exeter.

The new team will be led by Mat Belgrove who joins as lead director with co-directors Mark Humphries and Richard Turton, along with a graduate surveyor Ned Lewis, and an office manager, Carolyn Burt.

The office will service clients involved in developments across regeneration sites, business parks, hotels, public sector, and retail units.

Belgrove said there was significant construction and regeneration activity being seen in the Bristol area, fuelling rising demand for services in the sectors of student accommodation, the private rental market and office development.

“It is a very active market and one which is catching the attention of major institutional investors on an increasing basis.” PMP, chaired by John Dunn, was founded in Edinburgh 30 years ago.
