MD Stewart Rutherford Announcement:

PMP’s Christopher Hay and David McKenna are among two of our most recent promotions as we continue our strategy of getting the best PMP people to represent and deliver our projects and instructions.

For those who don’t know Chris is a Chartered Building Surveyor and Project Manager that has been with PMP since late 2017. As a senior member of the Edinburgh Projects Team his experience in the construction industry is varied and he has been instrumental in assisting with a number of projects in the commercial property sector, predominantly in industrial and distribution, office and also high end residential sectors.

Core to PMP’s purpose is that we are a trusted partner in the property industry to those who rely on our services to deliver solutions and drive projects forward. Chris represents this for us at PMP and his trust, professionalism, and ability to use his expertise, as well as being an exceptional conversationalist at our many events, ensures that we were delighted to recognise the strength he brings to PMP and up his wages and title!

Aside from work, Chris’ claim to fame will always be that he played for Scottish Universities Under 20’s Rugby Squad and set two swim records as well as the Javelin record at Senior School. However as proud as we are of his achievements, we sincerely hope that he can now carve out a new legacy for himself as a Project Director; congratulations Chris!

Now David McKenna.

David McKenna is a Chartered Building Surveyor in our Edinburgh team.

When David is not behind the camera, steadily trying to carve out a career as a content producer, he is a Building Surveyor who has grown in experience since starting as a summer intern at PMP. He quickly became a standout surveyor and is now a Senior Surveyor under the leadership of David Kennedy.

He has shown himself to be a valuable member of the team, from championing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) to his extensive knowledge in Dilapidations, and swapping office life for lyrca in the pursuit of adventure, most recently at the Buccleuch Property Challenge amongst others.

David is someone who gets involved, helps clients overcome issues and is a team player in life and in sport.

Chris and David are just two of the exceptionally talented and hardworking people that we have in the PMP team, and we are thrilled that a number of our new interns and recruits across the business will have the opportunity to work and learn from them in this business.
