Edrington New Headquarters
Project Management, Building Surveying
In 2016, The Edrington Group made the strategic decision to relocate its Headquarters from an out of town location to an office in the very heart of Glasgow City Centre. The choice of location and office would need to reflect the luxury and prestige the Edrington brand boasts and allow the group to strengthen its operations and promote the culture of the business.
Edrington appointed PMP to provide Technical Due Diligence advice on the selection of an office from a short list of city centre offerings. The pre-requisite was that the building had to offer CAT A office space with the Gross Internal Floor area they required and be available within the time frame Edrington had set for the move.

As experienced property consultants, PMP was able to use local knowledge and intelligence gathered from having advised on several other high profile office lettings to anchor tenants in new developments. It was this local expertise and evidenced knowledge that reassured Edrington that the proposed solution of securing the upper 4 floors of the newly completed 100 Queen Street would deliver the premium space and location that the brand sought.
Edrington’s confidence in the advice provided by PMP led to them to appoint PMP’s Project Management team to lead the Fit-Out Design Team and act as Contract Administrator for their exciting and much anticipated new Headquarters.
100 Queen Street included a 2 storey roof extension (floors 6 and 7) which would form the upper 2 floors of Edrington’s new headquarters as well as floors 4 and 5. Floors 4, 5 and 6 saw the creation of open plan office space, collaborative and private meeting spaces, enticing kitchen and break out spaces that would encourage creativity and collaboration among employees and promote well being and pride. The 7th floor, which commands exceptional views across Glasgow City Centre and beyond, is dedicated to a luxuriously welcoming visitors reception, conference and private entertainment space with an impressive Whisky Bar and tasting room showcasing the brands award winning selection of whiskies.
The quality of the fit-out had to reflect Edrington’s status as a luxury brand and PMP worked closely with the design team and contractor to ensure that this was achieved on time and within the budget. Through open and collaborative working, this was achieved with Edrington’s new HQ considered as one of the finest in Glasgow City Centre.
