Project Description

The Spires Group identified the previous serviced office building known as 93-95 Hanover Street, Edinburgh as an ideal location to expand their portfolio of Serviced Apartments. The existing Grade B Listed building required complete renovation with significant structural alterations to accommodate 18 serviced apartments ranging from studios to 2-bed apartments.

The project aim was to maximise the quantity of apartments given the constraints of the existing building and provide a bight vibrant series of apartments which are synonymous with the Spires Brand.

PMP Role

PMP were initially instructed by The Spires to undertake a building survey and due diligence prior to purchase agreement.

Subsequently, PMP were appointed as Project Managers, CDM Coordinators and Cost Consultants for the refurbishment works on the city centre site.

The project was completed on programme for the opening of the 2015 Edinburgh Festival.
