Getting under the skin of a property’s purpose and goals is where we start. The greater our understanding of why the project is important to you, and how it will benefit your organisation and end users is key. Working style is a success factor. With PMP on your side you’ll have people open to ideas. People who know the value of a good question, and where to add value constructively and creatively.
Our specialisms are technical and numbers-based, but we never lose sight of the fact that work can and should allow us all to crack a few smiles once in a while.
Here are our values. We’re ready to bring our best to get the job done.
It should give you confidence to see a list of esteemed Clients who consider PMP as their construction consultants of choice. These relationships have developed through honesty and trust, and are built on professional excellence and integrity.
The ultimate ambition has to be ensuring that you get the best, most knowledgeable and efficient service. To that end, our team never stops learning and across services and offices we frequently share lessons learned and best practice.
Partnership & Trust
Client retention is testimony to our partnership approach and focus on maximising your investment.
Over 70% of clients return to PMP during the infancy stages of their development. This early engagement optimises the deliverables, technical and commercial compliance and forms a lasting bond between stakeholders.
It’s not about the catch, but the delivery. We aim to give you more time and less work. Harnessing today’s digital tools to find resolutions and make decisions at pace.
Our unique Director led approach ensures our services are consistent, concise and productive at each stage of your development.
Stakeholder collaboration is vital. And being open and approachable from the get-go means no conversation is ever too difficult.
Experience gives us the tools to embrace challenges at all stages of a project. Our own teams are confident to share concerns with Directors knowing they’re fully supported which in turns optimises outcomes for you.
No matter how much you plan, it is likely that some aspects of the development will face changes and challenges. Keeping an open mind to all options and implementing a willingness to be flexible and adaptable to these is a value we instill in our team.
We Plan. We Do. We Review: With this approach, we are constantly challenging the status quo to ensure that the best solutions are realised and the project is delivered successfully. Remaining adaptable to your business plans and changes locally and nationally ensures your investment is protected.
Your investment (financial and time) in the project must be realised. We never overload our team so they can deliver their very best. Each project has a Director lead, who is available and accountable for their team members.
UK Wide Coverage
PMP was established in 1992 by our Chairman John Dunn. Today, the PMP family has national reach across offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester, London and Bristol. Sometimes we lead the team, sometimes we’re part of a team. We are wherever you need us to be.
At PMP, we value the communities in which we work and it’s important to us to support causes that create opportunities for people to access sport and culture.
Marple Athletic Girls Football Club - Under 10’s Away Strip, Kit Sponsor.
As a company that’s values the communities in which we live and work, we get a real kick out of creating opportunities that supports play too. That’s why we are Away Kit Sponsor for Marple Athletics Girls U10’s Football Club.
Head of our Manchester Office, Ben Walker is one of the coaches At Marple Athletic GFC U10’s and he said, “Our sponsorship helps support grass roots football in the community where we live. It’s important to us create opportunities for children and young people to enjoy sport and come together as a community”.
Charity Street Soccer Scotland
We were delighted to offer services as Building Surveyors on a ‘pro-bono’ basis to support Charity Street Soccer Scotland in securing a lease for The Lynch Centre, Dundee, to create a “change centre”. The centre will create opportunities for socially disadvantaged youngsters and adults and those from deprived areas to participate in soccer and other sport.
David Mackenzie, Dundee regional manager for Street Soccer Scotland, said “It will offer hope, relationships and purpose, but much more than that, by being at the heart of the local community, it’ll break away some of the misconceptions and stigma around social disadvantage by bringing people together through a range of different activities.”
